The Washington State Section of the ACSM was formed in about 1967, meeting in a back room of the Officers’ Club at Sand Point Naval Air Station in Seattle.
Some of the current Directors started attending in 1974.
WSS-ACSM has always had an emphasis on new technology and how it affects the surveying and mapping disciplines.
